| As I painted, these young Tarahumaran girls showed interest in oil painting too. They were so enthralled in doing something they'd never done before. I titled this painting:'Youthful Hope'. The girl on the far left is named Esperanza, which means 'Hope'.She attends school and is "HOPE" for her people. This painting was selected for a calendar by Ctr. for the Arts, Evergreen. |
